Katelyn and Paul’s engagement session at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens was the kind of evening that makes you slow down and take it all in—the warm air, the soft breeze, and the layered beauty of each garden space. As an Atlanta wedding photographer, I’m always drawn to locations like this that offer both variety and a timeless, romantic feel, and this session was such a perfect blend of both.
Katelyn and Paul held hands, enjoying eachother as we chatted, the warmth of deep friendship between them obvious. They have this warm energy where you can tell they have tons of fun together doing all sorts of things- including adventures to France, where they got engaged- but they also have this hint of deep rooted soulfulness, where you can imagine a window into the future with them sitting together as an old married couple laughing on a front porch recalling the good ol days.
Sessions like this are why I LOVE what I do—beautiful places, wonderful couples, and the opportunity to capture their joy and love in this special season of their lives.
Katelyn and Paul, I’m so excited for your upcoming wedding! It’s such a joy and honor to be your photographer.
Enjoy my favorites from the session, and you can view the gallery here.
