J + A’s wedding at Bramble and Oak Farm in Ball Ground, Georgia was the perfect blend of timeless romance, meaningful family details, and genuine joy. Inspired by the warmth and elegance of Pride & Prejudice, their wedding featured soft shades of olive and sage green, butter yellow, dusty rose, ivory, champagne, and gold. Vintage treasures, candlelight, colorful florals, and the bride’s collection of vintage ceramic swans added so much personality while still feeling classic and elegant.
Some of my favorite details were also the most meaningful. The bride’s engagement ring belonged to her great-grandmother, while her wedding band belonged to her great-great-grandmother. She carried her mother’s handkerchief and ribbon from her engagement flowers on her bouquet, and instead of a traditional guest book, J + A invited their guests to sign and highlight meaningful Scripture in their Bible. I love when wedding details aren’t simply beautiful, but carry stories that will continue long after the wedding day.
More than anything, J + A wanted their wedding to be centered on their faith and the covenant they were making before God. They also chose to have an unplugged ceremony, allowing everyone to put their phones away, be fully present, and experience the moment alongside them. Their hope was for a day that felt joyful and peaceful, filled with laughter, happy tears, hugs, worship, and quiet moments together—and that is exactly what unfolded. Bramble and Oak Farm was such a beautiful backdrop for a celebration that felt elegant without losing its warmth.
When I asked the bride what advice she would give couples currently planning their weddings, I loved her answer: “Your marriage will outlast your wedding day. Don’t get so caught up in the details that you forget what you’re celebrating. Stay true to what matters most to you.”
As an Atlanta wedding photographer, these are the stories I love to document—the beautiful portraits and thoughtful details, but even more importantly, the genuine moments and relationships that make the day worth remembering.
