The sky was blue and it was a hot summer day in the beautiful green fields of Tennessee. The Martinez family session was such a joyful stop on our cross-country summer road trip! We’re photographing families all over the country as we travel, and getting to reconnect with old friends along the way has made it even more special.

Rachel and I met years ago when we both lived in California, and I was so excited when she reached out about doing family photos while we were passing through. They just welcomed a brand new baby, and all their kids are absolutely adorable! We played in the creek, splashed around barefoot, and captured the sweetest moments of this new season for their family. It was one of those carefree, joy-filled afternoons that reminded me why I love what I do!
