There’s something magical about Lake Acworth, GA in the fall. The air feels soft, the trees burst into gold and amber, and the light wraps everything in that warm, glowy magic we photographers dream about.

When Gabriela and Daniel walked hand in hand down the boardwalk surrounded by all that color, it felt like I was watching a movie unfold in real life — probably a love story, and probably a little reminiscent of The Notebook. 😉

As an Atlanta wedding photographer, Lake Acworth is one of my favorite places for engagement photos in Georgia this time of year. It’s calm, colorful, and perfectly romantic — and bonus, the fall weather means the Georgia mosquitoes are (mostly) taking a break.
